Anna Barcafer – Marketing Administrative Specialist

Anna Elvira Barcafer works as a Marketing Administrative Specialist for the North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services. Anna supports and bolsters the efforts of the marketing specialists as they explore and appraise new and expanding markets. Anna loves to learn new ways of promoting the state’s agricultural abundance around the world.

Prior to joining NCDA&CS, Anna worked for the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission, and she has extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry. Anna received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

Outside of professional interests, Anna enjoys hiking, traveling, classic films, astronomy, and natural photography. She is originally from Bogota, Colombia and is a native Spanish speaker.
