Daniel Ding is the Director for the China Office for the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA&CS). His primary responsibilities include the promotion of North Carolina’s brand name, agricultural and food & beverage products in China market as well as managing NCDA official Chinese social media accounts. Meanwhile, Daniel is also the Director for EDPNC China Office and attracting Chinese investors to expand their businesses and creating new job opportunities in North Carolina.

Previously, Daniel was the China Representative for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and he jointly founded the American States Association in China (ASAC) and served as Board Member and Secretary General. Prior to the role, Daniel was the owner of two boutique international schools in Beijing and helping Chinese students to experience western education in China. Before that, Daniel spent about ten years studying and working in the UK where he served as a bridge between British and Chinese business communities while working at China-Britain Business Council. He has also worked at the largest European semiconductor company STMicroelectronics in its London office.

Daniel received his bachelor and master’s degree in Economics from Oxford University in the UK. Daniel lives with his wife and daughter in Beijing.
