Whit Winslow is the Executive Director for the NC Wine and Grape Council with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Whit is a native North Carolinian; he grew up in the Eastern part of the state, near Scotland Neck and lived in Jackson, WY and Asheville, NC before moving to Raleigh. He grew up on his family farm, producing a variety of row crops and livestock.
Whit is a graduate of Elon University with a degree in Marketing and East Carolina University with Master’s degrees in Sustainable Tourism and Business Administration. He has been with the NC Wine and Grape Council since 2012 and has enjoyed opportunities to work with the growers and producers and the hospitality professionals who consistently provide amazing experiences to our consumers. Whit enjoys getting to know people enthusiastic about the wine industry in NC and seeing first-hand the impact their enthusiasm has on their communities.
